A paper summarizing the main results appeared in the proceedings of IFIP/IEEE IM 2013. Vaibhav Bajpai joined our group as a PhD student. Vaibhav received his PhD in 2016 and he stayed as a PostDoc in our group until he moved to the Technical University Munich.

A paper summarizing the main results appeared in the proceedings of IFIP/IEEE IM 2013. Vitali Bashko joined the German software company 360 Treasury Systems AG.
- Vladislav Vladimirovich Perelman

A paper summarizing the main results appeared in the IEEE Communications Magazine in 2012. Vladislav Perelman joined the German software company 360 Treasury Systems AG. In 2015, he started to work for Facebook.

A paper summarizing the main results appeared in the proceedings of IFIP AIMS 2012. After leaving Jacobs University, Kevin Korte joined the German software company Univention. In 2013, Kevin moved to the USA in order to work for Microsoft.

A paper summarizing the main results appeared in the proceedings of IFIP AIMS 2011. After leaving Jacobs University, Siarhei Kuryla joined the German software company 360 Treasury Systems AG. In 2013, he started to work for Google.
- Nikolay Melnikov

A short paper summarizing the basic research idea appeared in the proceedings of IFIP AIMS 2009. Nikolay Melikov joined our group as a PhD student. He left in 2013 to work as a software developer on a sunny island.

A short paper summarizing the basic research idea appeared in the proceedings of IFIP/ACM AIMS 2008. A full paper providing more details about the query language design appeared in the proceedings of IFIP/IEEE DSOM 2009. Vladislav Marinov joined AeroScout Professional Services after leaving Jacobs University and he is since then traveling around the globe (and frequently visiting us).

A paper summarizing the main results appeared in the proceedings of IEEE Oceans 2009. Anuj Sehgal joined our group as a PhD student. In 2015, Anuj Sehgal left in order to work for a cloud computing startup company.

- Georgi Chulkov
Buglook: A Scalable Distributed Search Engine for Bug Reports
A papers summarizing the main results appeared in the proceedings of IFIP/IEEE DSOM 2008 and parts of the work also appeared in a Springer JNSM 2009 paper. After leaving Jacobs University, Georgi Chulkov started to work as a game developer in a small company back home in Sofia.

After leaving Jacobs University, Ivan Delchev went to St. Gallen in Switzerland where he joined SAP Research in 2007.
- Catalin Ciocov

After leaving Jacobs University, Catalin Ciocov focused on his own IT company, which he already started as an undergraduate student.
- Matus Harvan
Connecting Wireless Sensor Networks to the Internet – a 6lowpan Implementation for TinyOS 2.0
A paper summarizing the main results appeared in PIK 4/2008. After leaving Jacobs University, Matus Harvan joined ETH Zurich as PhD student, after doing a Google summer of code project during the summer of 2007. Matus obtained his PhD from the ETH Zurich in October 2013.

- Vlad Balan
An Experimental Evaluation of Voice-over-IP Quality over the Datagram Congestion Control Protocol
A paper summarizing the main results appeared in the proceedings of IEEE INFOCOM 2007. After leaving Jacobs University, Vlad Balan joined the University of Southern California as PhD student. Vlad received his PhD in August 2013.
